Terms of service and acceptable use
Short version: use the tool for your own images, do not attack it, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
1. The service
minimage resizes and converts images inside your browser, free of charge, with no account required. We are the operator named on About and seller identity.
2. Your images stay yours
You keep all rights in your images. We claim no licence over them, because we never receive them: processing happens on your device and no copy is sent to us.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use minimage to:
- process images you have no right to process, including other people's private photographs;
- create material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing or sexualises minors;
- forge identity or travel documents, or alter an image in order to deceive an official process;
- attack, scrape, overload or probe the service, or attempt to defeat its rate limits or security controls;
- remove or misrepresent a copyright notice or attribution that the law requires you to keep;
- present the service as your own, or use the minimage name or marks without written permission.
If a report reaches us about prohibited use, we may block access where we can identify it, and we will act on lawful requests from authorities. Report abuse from Report abuse.
4. No account, no charge
There is nothing to subscribe to at this version. If a paid feature is added later, the free resize-and-download path stays free and never requires registration.
5. Availability and limits
Files up to 10 MB in JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF are accepted. HEIC/HEIF is accepted only where your browser can decode it; no conversion is provided. We may apply rate limits to keep the service available for everyone; a limit will always be explained on screen rather than failing silently. We may change or withdraw the service, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability of a free tool used on your own device.
6. Liability
The service is provided as-is. You are responsible for checking that a resized or converted file meets the requirement you are submitting it to — portal rules change, so verify them before you submit. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the tool. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
7. Changes to these terms
