About and seller identity
minimage is a small, free image resizing tool with one unusual property: your image never leaves your device.

Why it is built this way
Image resizing can be performed on a server or on your device. minimage uses your browser so your photograph stays with you. Modern browsers can decode, resize and re-encode images perfectly well, so minimage does the work in the tab you already have open, and has no server-side copy to lose.
How it is paid for
The tool is free and there is no account. At this version, costs are covered without advertising inside the edit or download path; any advertising that appears is labelled, non-personalised, and placed away from the task. No feature is ever traded for your data.
What minimage does not do
- It does not store, share or host your images.
- It does not offer accounts, saved history or cloud galleries.
- It does not silently send a file to a server when local processing is unavailable — it says so instead.
